Pressure is rising quickly across the country this morning as an area of high pressure slowly drifts up from the southwest. This high looks like dominating the weather across Britain and Ireland for at least the next week, if not longer, so we can expect plenty of dry and mainly fine weather in the coming days.
Have my prayers been answered ??

forecast seems to have changed somewhat, there's a lot more blue on that link now than there was yesterday.
